The concept of mobile artistic residence was born in 2015 in Brazil as a research platform on the process of artistic creation and nomadism: "the path-shape". Using the bike as an experience and a source of inspiration, the artists propose to write a narration in the big landscape: objects, bodies and ideas.

Selected by "Echangeur 22" to create an international artistic residency on the theme of "mobility", Agathe Rosa & Ale Gabeira each develop a personal work based on the relationship between the territory and the local culture. Following this experience, their common affinity for travel and the desire to fit into the landscape of the South of France encouraged them to carry out an extension of the E22 residence. By leaving by bike from Marseille, they then cross the coast and stop at La Grande Motte. Here, the architecture influenced by O. Niemeyer, the light and the participative energy that emerges from the place stimulates artists to stay for a few days to dialogue with this city.
