Enameled ceramic basin, sacred water - D 40cm x H 10 cm
Murmure is a ceramic basin of deep blue filled with water charged during the phases of a lunar cycle.
The object originates from a former vase used for the Japanese art of flower arrangement. Covered with an intense glaze, it retains traces of the firing process: fine cracks, resembling tears, run across its surface. These fissures evoke both the vulnerability of the material and its capacity for resistance.
The surface of the water captures the light and acts as a living mirror. The work becomes a space for silent reflection, where the gaze slows down and settles.
